need opinion on new deck

what do you guys think of this deck, My panasonic is about to die on me and I need a new one. I can get this at a Killer Deal.

No offence but i hate JVC. JVC has really bad sound to it.. It's really distorted at high volume, sounds muffled at low volume.

If your going for clarity i would suggest.
Clarion, Panasonic, or Kenwood. All 3 of those have the 4v pre amp out. And hadle really good...

My curent panasonic is a Peace of $hit, I hate clarion. I don't like kenwoods because it's too complicated... to many buttons.

I like the Pioneers and Have seen Little problem with the JVC deck we sell at work.

I have one of the pioneer decks in my sedan and it is nice. I am not really into systems and all but I like something that is functional and has a nice sound. The pioneer has both qaulities. As for the JVC I am not too familiar with so I can't really help you out.

I used to have a JVC than i got a Panasonic and the Panasonic seems to be better. The Panasonic to me has better, clearer highs, it's also easy to use and dosen't have any junk on it that i don't need. If i had to buy again i would go wih the Panasonic.

I don't like those El Kameleon things, too much crap to go through to get to the buttons and then if you hit a bump or sumthin while you were pressing one you'd most likely brake that little "button bar" or whatever off. I'm using and Aiwa right now it's nice but I guess Pioneer's what I would suggest. I like the Aiwa too though.

ok, from my experience, i think that JVC along with Aiwa, are the crappiest decks since radioshack optimus. do yourself a favor and get a kenwood.

My vote goes for a PAnasonic deck, easy to use, ONe my frined bought last summer has 3 pre outs (front, back, sub) they have subcontrol, and generally sound great. I ahve an older Panasonic (witha Tape deck) and i haven;t upgraded cause it sounds great with just the basic Kaption 5.25 fronts crossover 1inch tweeters, Infinty 6x9s, and a 240W MEI(Shut up i got it for free) amp and a 10inch Rockford sub.

My friends sytem in his jeep consists of 4 little speakers, 2 6x9s, 2 250x2amps, 1 1200watt amp, and 2 12s

well im goin against the norm here, and i have plenty of experience with all brands and to be completely honest,the new jvc kdsh99 is by far the best headunit i have owned, and that speaks volumes for it considering ive had top of the line headunits from every company except panasonic, which was only a step down from the top of the line, so take it for what its worth, im real picky with my stereo shit and ive spent a hell of a lot of time and money on it...and the jvc gets my vote, well the kdsh99 does anyway.....i had an older kamaeleon, and it did suck, so i dont know about the newer one
